How did New England Painting & Contracting get started?

I started working in the trades while in high school. I worked doing painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work for various businesses, learning as much as I could.

What is your biggest challenge, and how did you overcome it? Managing supply chain issues while keeping projects on schedule. In 2020, we leased additional commercial warehouse space to allow us to bulk purchase the supplies and equipment we need to keep our projects on schedule.

How has New England Painting and Contracting grown since you started your business?

We are constantly striving to meet customer needs both today and looking ahead to market trends. We began as a small painting and carpentry contractor and have grown into a full-service home improvement company with ten direct employees and over 25 subcontractors. Today, we provide full kitchen, bathroom, basement renovations, decks, and porches. The customer demand for these services has been significant.

What has been your biggest success to date?

By putting our customers first and providing a high-quality customer experience, we have been able to build a trusted and successful brand.

Transforming Exteriors with Carpentry Repair & House Painting At New England Painting and Contracting, we are passionate about breathing new life into homes, making them shine with renewed beauty and strength. Our recent project in Melrose, MA, perfectly showcases this dedication, where we tackled a house exterior in dire need of some tender care. The home was showing its age, with rotting clapboards and trim that cried out for attention. Our carpenters swiftly got to work, removing the decayed wood and replacing it with robust new materials. This essential carpentry work set the stage for a remarkable transformation. Once the carpentry was complete, our focus shifted to priming and painting. We selected top-tier Benjamin Moore products to ensure not only a stunning finish but also one that will endure the test of time. The primer laid down a solid foundation, allowing the paint to achieve a flawless look and long-lasting protection against the elements.

Malden, MA Porch Renovation
December 4, 2023
Malden, MA Porch Renovation In the bustling city of Malden, Massachusetts, stands a four-family commercial building that recently underwent an extraordinary renovation. The project was carried out by none other than New England Painting & Contracting, renowned for their commitment to quality and professionalism. This story began when the owner of the building hired a non-licensed contractor to rebuild the two-story front porch on this four-family home. However, due to incorrect framing and the contractor's inability to meet building codes, the building department had to halt the project. The porch was left in an unfinished state, a disheartening sight for the owner. Rising to the Challenge This is where New England Painting & Contracting stepped in. We were tasked with the challenge of transforming this incorrectly framed porch into a beautiful and structurally sound space.
